Simohamed is one of the last traditional tanners of Fés. It is back-breaking work but Simohamed loves it, and even more so now that the traditional craft is dying out.
It's early morning and the sun is rising over the medina of Fés - the most beautiful and biggest in Morocco. In their small apartment, Simohamed El Ouzzaniand his wife Nadja are eating breakfast. Simohamed, alanky man with dark, lively eyes will not get another chance to eat for the rest of the day.
