In 2008, the price of raw materials hit the roof, and the price of rice increased six-fold in the space of a few months, provoking hunger riots in poor countries.
2 years later, the situation in Mali and its farming ambitions are revisited. Using the film screened for the first time in Mali via the "Cinema Numérique Ambulant" mobile film-screening association, this report takes up the investigation once again. The report features a trip to the Niger Delta, Mali's major rice-growing zone, a territory that represents great hope, but is also the object of much envy.
