DIVERS AT WORK ON THE WRECK OF THE "MAINE"
France 1898
Divers and live fish. The American battleship "The Hand" has sunk in the port harbor in
Havana (Cuba) after it exploded. Three deep-sea divers find an open hole in the
shipwreck, go through it and remove a dead body that they attach to a rope in order to
bring it up to the surface.

THE TERRIBLE TURKISH EXECUTIONER
France 1904
In Constantinople, an executioner is in charge of beheading four convicted prisoners.
Yet, the heads reattach to the bodies of the executed and they come back to life. The
sentenced men get their revenge by cutting the executioner in two, but he succeeds in
joining himself back together and dashes forward in pursuit of them.

CINDERELLA
France 1899
The cruel mother and two sisters of Cinderella treat her as their scapegoat. However, the
Fairy Godmother allows her to go the ball on the condition that she returns at midnight !
While fleeing from the royal palace where she danced with the Prince, Cinderella lost her
glass slipper ! The prince tries it on all the young girls in the kingdom : Cinderella is the
only one who manages to place her foot in the slipper. They get married and live happily
ever after.

SIGHTSEEING THROUGH WHISKY
France 1907
A coachman, who is accompanying a group of tourists in some old ruins, drinks a bit too
much from his bottle of whisky. He falls asleep and becomes the victim of hallucinations :
he sees a high priest, the three Graces, Bacchus, etc...but suddenly, he is brought back
to reality.
