François travels to Le Havre, which was classified a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005.
He crosses the Normandy Bridge - a technical feat spanning the Seine - and in company of architect Vincent Duteurtre, visits the districts designed by Auguste Perret. He then goes to the café Marie-Louise, a veritable former institution, where dockers used to gather. He visits the Eure district, with its sailors’ clock tower and its student accommodation, built in containers.
