Estimated at 7 billion euros a year, art trafficking is the third largest traffic activity in the world, after that of drugs and weapons. It constitutes the grounds for a global clash between States, traffickers, auction houses, collectors and NGOs.

How is the traffic of art encouraged and used to legitimise authority, whether economic or political? From Paris to Beijing, via Geneva and Luxembourg, this documentary, in the form of an international investigation, highlights the double talk by States in relation to the traffic of cultural property, as well as the rise of the private players who benefit from it.
