Behind the world’s highest navigable lake, the famous Titicaca, stand the plateaus of the Altiplano and the Andes mountains.

The peaks are inhabited by divinities worshipped by the Aymara and Quecha indians, and conceal some true geological wonders : volcanoes, caves, hot springs… and the world’s vastest salt desert. The population is very poor, in a country that is neverthless rich in terms of natural resources. The indigenous peoples (Aymara, Quecha and Guarani…) perpetuate the legends of the ancient Inca culture.
