Left paralysed by an aeroplane crash, Dorine Bourneton was determined to fulfil her dream of becoming the first disabled female aerobatics pilot.

Dorine had always wanted to fly. But in May 1991, when she was just 16, tragedy intervened. The small Piper aircraft she was a passenger on hit the side of Mount Mézenc, in the Haute-Loire area of France. Dorine was the sole survivor of the crash. She lost the use of her legs, but not the passion for flying she shared with her father. As Sam Caro's documentary charts her struggles and shows how she sets about achieving her goal, Dorine emerges as a woman of exceptional courage and talent. It takes us up to June 2015, when she was about to become the first disabled woman ever to perform an aerobatics display at the Paris Air Show.
