Getting to Krasnoyarsk  takes a three day journey from Moscow via the Trans-Siberian railway. This region is four times bigger than France. No more than three million people live in these densely forested hills without access to a telephone line or the internet.

Most of the inhabitants are spread across a multitude of small isolated villages - dispersed along vast siberian forest patches at the heart of the taiga. In this gorgeous land, you cannot count on any medical dispensary or transport service. They only have one way to access healthcare: the hospital-train.
