After "700 SHARKS" and "EXPEDITION ANTARCTICA", Laurent Ballesta has yet again challenged himself to a new world record: spend 28 days at a depth of 100 meters, pushing the limits of his body to reveal the luxuriant and unknown depths of the Mediterranean.

The Mediterranean. Because people have been travelling there for thousands of years, it is be­lieved to be without secrets. And yet, far below its surface, lie vast unexplored territories, luxurious gardens worthy of the finest tro­pical coral reefs. These natural wonders are inaccessible to the traditional diver, in a twilight zone, between 60 and 120 m, where there’s less than 1% of sunlight. If diving at such depths is always a challenge, staying there is a fan­tasy, a utopia that becomes reality in Planet Mediterranean.
In the tradition of Commander Cousteau and his «houses under the sea», the team of diver-photo­grapher Laurent Ballesta is under­taking a new world-record setting mission in complete freedom and without time limit.

For more than a decade, the number two in the Third Reich amassed a collection of more than 5,000 art works, all meticulously detailed in a catalog. But how did Hermann Goering get his hands on these works? 

Why did he plunder collections, mainly those belonging to Jewish families who fell victim to the Holocaust? Was it to satisfy his thirst for painting, or was he acting in the service of the Nazi regime? This documentary explores these works and where they were hidden, through extensive photos and archives. At the same time, it tells the story of Nazism’s systematic spoliation, often paid for in blood.
 

This film tells for the first time the story of the Katyn massacre seen from both sides: That of the victims and that of the perpetrators. It reveals how this crime, attributed to the Nazis for 50 years, was in fact carried out by the Soviet secret police, the NKVD.

In April 2020, it will be 80 years since the slaughter. The name Katyn has come to embody this large-scale massacre carried out in the greatest secrecy. In a clearing near the city of Smolensk, on the border with Belarus, many of these soldiers, mainly officers, were executed. First blamed on the Nazis, the cover-up endured for five years. It was only on the eve of the collapse of the Soviet Union that Mikhail Gorbachev was finally forced to acknowledge Stalin’s responsibility in the perpetration of the crime. His successor, Boris Yeltsin, opened the archives that provided the long-awaited evidence.
Eighty years later, through archives and animation, Cédric Tourbe tells the story of the Katyn massacre from the side of the victims, and for the first time, from that of the executioners. This slaughter says much about the workings of the Soviet regime, based on a police force operating in unbelievable secrecy.

He became the legendary chef of the first luxury hotels: the Ritz in Paris, the Savoy and Carlton in London, and then New York. Through reenactments, archives and interviews of starred-chefs from around the world, we will retrace the birth of haute cuisine and how the legacy of Escoffier remains today.

At the Grafenwöhr military base in Bavaria, thousands of G.I.'s are firing almost 24 hours a day. It is precisely on these military grounds that a unique natural refuge has been created. A place where wolves live together with deer, hinds and their fawns.

Researchers are interested in these military grounds, which have become reservoirs of biodiversity, and in the animals that live there.

A component of many regional recipes such as pancakes, this amber syrup, made from the sap of maple trees, is mostly made in Quebec. Today, it is one of Canada's leading export products.

In Estonia, people are mobilized to help them cross the country's roads safely. A similar situation is observed in Tallinn, the capital, where toads and frogs are threatened in their migration.
