This documentary series will tell the story of intimate and tumultuous love stories in the context of art history. A love story is a fascinating detour that can lead us to discover and rediscover an artistic journey and the works that are born from its romantic encounters.

The series brings us into the foot steps of Amedao Modigliani and Jeanne Hébuterne, Lee Miller and Man Ray or Gerda Taro and Robert Capa who, together, photograph the Spanish civil war, in a communion of romantic, political and artistic commitment.
This love story is an excuse to narrate the lives of artists, their neuroses and narcissism, and to confront them to their alter ego, the other, their double.
Each of the couples of this collection answers the same questions : is love compatible with creation ? Can artists reveal themselves through romantic passion ? Does love bring a renewed energy to Art ?

He was a pioneer of photo-journalism. Prepared to take huge risks for the right photo, he covered all the major conflicts of the 20th century. She was a talented young photographer, intrepid and ambitious, and one of the first female photo-journalists.

But she was also the woman who remained in the wings, yet who helped to create the legend of Robert Capa.
Capa and Taro was the coming together of two politically-committed people, united by photography. It’s also the tale unbridled love that did not withstand the ravages of war.

Outside of his films, Bill Murray is almost always an elusive man. He hates interviews but isn't a misanthrope. He prefers to be where we don't expect him. This film will reveal the extraordinary character behind the famous actor. Discover the origin of his comedic genius, his passions, his causes...

From Wilmette, the small town in Illinois where he grew up; to New York, where he established his fame in the Saturday Night Live; to Chicago, where he made his debut; Paris which fascinated him and Los Angeles which he hates – we will meet witnesses who will help us understand this one-off character.
The structure will pay homage to one of his instant classics: Groundhog Day. A never ending quest with its share of humor, tenderness, mystery and nonsense.
Each day of this film will deal with an aspect of his life from his childhood to nowadays: his personality, a place, a key moment in his career. Each day will unravel a little more of the mystery and teach us more about his life and journey. Bill Murray's character in Groundhog Day wants to know everything about Andie MacDowell's tastes and avoid any mistake in hope of seducing her one day. Like him, the narrator of our film wants to take every parameter into account for the day he will finally manage to meet Bill Murray.

This film recounts the colorful career of the last tycoon of Hollywood’s Golden Age and explores the turbulent but creatively rewarding relationships between Spiegel and Hollywood giants John Huston, David Lean, Elia Kazan, Marlon Brando and Katherine Hepburn.

Sam Spiegel fled the specter of Nazi Germany in 1933 to become the most enigmatic and controversial film producer in the history of Hollywood, the equal of Selznick, Goldwyn, Zanuck and Mayer. He is the only person to win three Oscars as sole producer on a feature film, for On The Waterfront (1954), The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) and Lawrence of Arabia (1962).  He also produced the iconic film The African Queen with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn (1951).

Spiegel was a pioneer of independent filmmaking whose movies stacked up dozens of Academy Awards. He was considered to be a storytelling producer who was passionate about the human spirit overcoming adversity, and chose complex plots that served a charismatic hero struggling against the world.  He had a refugee mentality, which fed his desire to survive irrespective of the difficulties he encountered and took great risks with producing in terms of the size of the production and its physical distance from Hollywood. For a number of years, Spiegel used SP Eagle as his professional name to avoid creditors and the authorities - he had a criminal record for passing bad cheques and, for a time, was an illegal immigrant to the US.

He told you he’ll be back…and that was no true lie!
From the 60s until today, the doc retraces the life of this American icon. It also sheds a new light on his career as it shows every step is a part of his ambitious plan.
From bodybuilding champ to Hollywood A-lister and governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is the living and breathing version of the American Dream… although he’s not American.

Now, nearly forty years after Terminator, everyone has learned to say “Arnold Schwarzenegger”. And no one is astonished anymore. His story has travelled the globe; one of the last great legends of America– “The leaving, breathing incarnation of the American dream”, as he himself likes to put it. It is the story of a young Austrian fascinated by grandeur that became the number one bodybuilder, the number one Hollywood actor, and the governor of California. Most importantly, it is the story of uncommon drive: that of a self-made man who knew how to patiently mold reality into the shape of his childhood dream.
And if this story is familiar to us today, and if nothing here astonishes us anymore, that is perhaps because the world has taken on his image.  It is perhaps because he came, like the Terminator himself, to predict our future. Today, bodybuilding has become common practice, newspapers continuously talk of our cyborg future, Donald Trump is in the White House and reality seems to have turned irreversibly into a spectacle. The story of Arnold Schwarzenegger is also our own: that of an era governed by the law of images, more fascinated than ever by the cult of ambition, impatient to be done with humanity in order to finally replace it with the reign of the machines.
So it is time, now that Schwarzenegger is over 70 and no longer looks much like a cyborg, to tell the story of the making of this legend that can speak volumes of our dreams, and also our nightmares.

With the “Wages of Fear”, “Diabolique” and “Quay of the Goldsmiths”, Henri-Georges Clouzot is revealed as a master of suspense, turning human neuroses into a breath taking spectacle.

Although he influenced many major contemporary film-makers (Friedkin, Spielberg), Clouzot has been overlooked in France. Yet, he is a true author, with a unique vision of the world, bringing together successfully the French art of character analysis and the American art of great spectacle.
By looking more closely at the romanesque side of his work, one discovers an elusive man,  an inventive Jack-of-all-trades. Henri-Georges Clouzot’s portrait reveals a man of vision, an agitator, an artist in opposition to the system.
