This is the fascinating story of a Venice from the late 19th century to the rise of Mussolini through the saga of one of its richest families: the Stucky family. A forgotten Venice, with incredible unreleased archives in original color and amateur films shot in the early 1900’s.

How did a family that started from nothing managed to build an economic empire in so little time? And what made this empire collapse so suddenly to be lost in the swirling currents of history?
To the ebb and flow of fortune, the story of the Stuckys evokes the power of family sagas and echoes several contemporary leitmotifs: That of the self-made-man, the success story, of grandeur and decadence, and how the mighty fall.
Beyond the twists and turns worthy of a soap opera, the destiny of this dynasty inspires charm and amazement because it embodies a whole age – that of the total transformation of Europe at the end of the 19th century. Retracing the story of the Stucky family is thus a wonderful opportunity to bring to life this complex and tumultuous period in history.

50 years after his death, embark on a journey to deconstruct the heroic guerillero’s myth. With on-camera testimonies, previously unseen documents and little known archive footage, this is the story of a man trapped by his own legend.

From his hagiographies to his caricatures, Che was the main author behind his own legend. Cinema-lover, writer, photographer, he continually staged his life to build the myth that would survive him.
Casting a spotlight on his family, his work or his fights, he became one of the leading figures of Revolution across the globe. He even exposed his own darker side himself. From battle dress to shaggy beard and Cuban cigar on his lips, he forged the image of the noble if grimy guerillero. He seized his own image of a firebrand ready to plunge the world in fire.

Although they are born female, "Transboys" feel male and have decided to cross the frontier between the sexes.

These alternating portraits of Lynnee, Kaleb and Rocco reveal three characters who embody the "Transboy", and who are exploring this gender flexibility.

The documentary turns the traditional male-female mindset on its head, and attempts to find out in what way this new male behaviour could advance male-female relationships in general.

This garden was created in 1950 on the arid soil of an old agricultural property in Northern California – it was the brainchild of Ruth Bancroft's vivid imagination. This 65 years old pioneer was self-educated; she imagined this garden where agaves, cacti and aloes flourish.

Open to the public, it was the first garden to be protected by the prestigious “Garden Conservancy” in 1992 – the association for the preservation of American gardens. Ruth Bancroft tended to this garden until she was 102 years old; she lived to 109 years old!

Mount Etna is the highest and most active volcano in Europe. It erupts once or twice a year, threatening the 900,000 people who live nearby. Despite this, every year, in February, Catania becomes the centre of one of the most important Christian pilgrimages in the world.

With great ardor, half a million Sicilians congregate and pray to Santa Agata, the protector of the city. They prey for her protection against the wrath of the fiery giant. For noting in the world, would they ever leave this volcanic land, a land of milk and honey where you can find the best oranges in the world.
