700 Sharks is a spectacular dive for the first time by night into a feeding frenzy of 700 sharks in Polynesia, the largest concentration of sharks in the world. Filmed with very ambitious camera gear, with the participation of world-famous Laurent Ballesta. Emmy Award nominated, Winner of the Unifrance Export prize & Wildlife photographer of the year. 

The film will demonstrate that, contrary to what science said up to now, sharks do not hunt alone. They are actually organized with a leader, have strategies and collaborate among one another. An organization that resembles a pack of wolves or lions. A three year expedition will show unique behaviors of predators and prey, shot in an entirely natural setting, using no artefacts such as feeding, which is also a first. Discover incredible scenes of hunting, like in a savannah wildlife film, in which fifty sharks team up to capture one fish, and prey that sometimes manages to outsmart sharks.

From coral reefs to sharks by way of the northern polar ice, diver and photographer Joe Bunni invites us to delve into the most beautiful underwater landscapes. The user will discover the thrill of diving in a 360° universe through 5 short films.

Joe Bunni immerses us in the perfect diving experience from his perspective. This voyage beneath the sea feels like flying! But this fascinating universe is fragile and Joe intends to alert us to the dangers of pollution.

Eve is a premature baby. This immersive experience is one of ARTE’s first 360° docu-fiction features that puts the audience in Eve’s point of view: surrounded by medical staff, loved by caring parents, in direct contact with a world all new to her, we experience the challenge of the beginning of life. 

“Filming in 360° is a cinematographic turning point requiring the invention of a new language, whose possibilities remain to be discovered. We should not think in terms of frames or shots, but in terms of space and presence in a 360° space,” said Fouzi Louahem, director.
 
A professional 360° camera with 8 lenses (Nokia OZO) was placed in a baby incubator to capture in a realistic and sensitive way the emotions portrayed by the actors. Thanks to the fictional approach and the 360° directing, this experience offers a unique 360° perceptive. The film’s storytelling technique is revolutionary; the director no longer directs the gaze of the audience. The viewer chooses to look wherever he or she wants. The viewer experiences the film in his or her own way, by looking at details, at an actor or at one action in particular. In an innovative production, spatial sound design using the latest audio equipment in and post-production software enhances the feeling of 360° immersion.

Delve through space and time and discover the most iconic places within Fontainebleau – where the historical narrative intertwines with the words of famous authors Flaubert and Mallarmé. The film enables us to walk through the lavish King Francis 1 galleries, the Stags galleries and the ballroom.

It also offers exceptional aerial viewpoints above the gardens, the water bodies and the roofs that normally remain unseen by regular visitors.  Saint Louis, Francis 1, Louis 14, Napoleon... All of them wanted to leave their mark on the “true house of kings”: the Palace of Fontainebleau. Throughout the centuries the place was the scene of numerous political intrigues and amorous adventures.

The Fakarava atoll is a small strip of land lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It is there we meet Laurent Ballesta and his acolytes.
After a flyover of the southern pass to take in the gray sharks’ territory we are finally ready to dive in.

I have become a full-blown member of this experimented team but tension still builds up. After crossing the path of a school numbering thousands of fishes we find them... Hundreds of gray sharks – seemingly harmless – are sleeping in the current, waiting for the night – hunting time.

Behold an experience that will offer you an educating and spectacular plunge into Manet’s famous painting. Thanks to VR, you will in turn view Edouard Manet, his model Suzon, the patron who gazes at her and the Gallery visitor’s perspective.

Each of the characters will have their own first-person voiceover educating the viewer about the painting and its context in an original, intimate and immersive way. We will thus be transported into each of the protagonists’ universes through their eyes and inner monologues. First, Manet himself – in his workshop – will touch on his work as it is in progress. The artist thus replaces the painting in the context of his entire body of work and explains his choices in composing it and his pictorial technique. Then we delve at the heart of the tableau to enter the Folies Bergère, watching Suzon through the man with the hat’s gaze. We wonder about the woman’s mysterious look on the mirror that seems to reflect an entirely subjective reality. Then through Suzon’s gaze we discover this mythical place – the Folies Bergère – and the Parisian society’s shady underbelly. We finally emerge from the art piece to find ourselves in Galerie Courtauld – where it is exposed – looking through a visitor’s eyes.
